Provisional Voting

Federal and State laws provide voters with the opportunity to cast a provisional ballot under certain circumstances.

County election officials will examine the provisional ballots within two (2) days after an election to determine whether the individual voting a provisional ballot was entitled to vote in the election.

At the time of voting, the provisional voter will be supplied with a Provisional Ballot Identification Receipt, which lists the procedures on how to check the status of the Provisional Ballot.

Check to See if Your Provisional Vote Counted (or Not).
